Things you only find in risk
Published on October 4, 2025The space of the soul is a bit like what would be the rooftop of a ten-storey building, specifically for a woman.
You feel drawn to go there, but you tell yourself it’s risky.
It’s an isolated space, with no possible witnesses.
You don’t know who you might come face to face with.
Technically, we’re talking about a space where, once you’ve arrived, to leave you wouldn’t simply step back through the door onto the roof terrace - you’d also have to open the stairwell door, hurry down the flights all the way to the entrance hall, push the door open, and finally reach a safe place: the public area.
In other words, if a “bad” encounter were to occur there…
Risky.
But delicious.
Last night, I was there at eight o’clock, and it was dark.
I was gazing at the crescent moon when I saw appear, like a moving garland, a silver thread floating in the sky.
I had to concentrate, narrow my eyes to see, almost to feel, the movement of those silver wings on their journey.
A moment later, the thread had vanished. The migrating birds had slightly changed their course, and without the moonlight glinting on their wings, they were now carried by the night.
There are things one can only glimpse from a rooftop terrace,
and there are things one can only receive in the space of one’s soul…
